Otis & Pamela

Needless to say, Pamela met Otis through Great Expectations. He was the third person who requested permission to contact her and when she reviewed his pictures and information she loved his smile. He was one year older than the parameters that she had set so at first she was hesitant, but the smile got her.

They had their first date in August at Applebee’s and had such a wonderful time talking and laughing for three and a half hours. When they went to leave the restaurant Otis gave her a hug goodbye and asked if he could call her again. Since that first day, they saw each other every other day even if only for a couple hours.

By the following December, they were engaged. Otis was very sly about getting Pamela her ring. They went with Pamela’s son, who was also shopping for a ring for his girlfriend. They were all three looking and not sure what to pick out when Otis suggested, “Pamela why don’t you just pick the one you would like, I’m sure she would like it as well.”  She picked the one she liked, her son chose a different one of course! That Christmas under the tree was a package for Pamela containing the beautiful ring she thought she was picking out for a future daughter-in-law.

They were married January 26 of the following year and still laugh and have fun with each other every single day. They wanted to say, “Thank you Great Expectations for making this possible!”
