Michael & Elys

Michael had been a member for two and a half years when he selected new member Elys who had recently joined six weeks prior. Michael called Elys in early December, and surprised Elys with the revelation that not only did he have a pilot’s license, but also owned his own plane.

They literally met at the Wayne County (Ohio) airport! Elys will never forget how beautiful that raspberry topped plane looked gliding down for a landing just for her, or how hard it was to see it fly off into the night sky when he left for the evening. Now the sound of plane engines turn both of their heads skyward.

They knew they were meant for each other when on an early spring walk; the words “when we’re married” slipped into conscious conversation and surprised them both with the realization that they were thinking the same thing. Michael and Elys are so well matched, it’s as if God had this planned from the beginning and they are so excited to see what he has in store for their new future together!
